What about coverage for Valuables?
Your jewellery is held covered when jewellery is at home.
Cash is also covered but limited to 5% of sum insured for contents (max. limited Rs. 50,000/-)
Note: High -value watches, designer accessories. etc. are also treated as jewellery.
The total value of jewelery (maximum limit Rs. 100.000) shall be deemed not to exceed 20% of the total value of contents and no one such article of jewelery shall be deemed to be of a greater value than 5 % of the value of total sum insured for contents.
Loss of Rent
Provides cover against loss of rent, if the home structure or any part thereof covered under the policy is unfit for occupation in consequence of its destruction or damage by any of the perils stated above. This facility is limited to 10 % of sum insured for buildings or Rs. 15,000/- per month whichever is less for a period of three months provided both building and contents are insured under the policy.
Personal Liability
Covers any injuries or damages caused to third parties. The amount payable under this policy shall not exceed Rs. 50,000/- for any one accident or a series of accidents arising out of any one event.
What about Premium ?
Annual gross premium rates are:
For building * 0.18%
For contents * 0.95%
*subject to Government levies as per prevailing law.
How can I get this Policy?
All you need to do to get the Century Home Safe Policy is to fill this Proposal Form and hand it over to your insurance advisor, with the premium cheque attached. You will be presented a Home Safe Certificate, which will be evidence of cover followed by complete policy documents by CICL. Cover will not commence until the proposal has been accepted and the policy has been issued and delivers.
What do I do in case of a claim?

In the unfortunate event of a claim please register the claim on our UAN 111-111-717. For claims that require inspection, we will appoint a surveyor immediately. Upon submission of required documents by the insured and receipt of survey Reports, payment will be made to the insured.
